How and When Did the Ming Dynasty End?
This dynasty ended in 1644. After almost 300 years of power, it grew weak. Their weak rulers, high taxes, and poor harvests caused the decline of this dynasty. There was, in fact, an emperor who was responsible for this dynasty's fall. This was the Wanli emperor. He raised taxes, and doing this he weakened the Ming's economy. He was the 13th emperor of the Ming dynasty. He ruled for 48 years, and was the last emperor of the Ming dynasty.

How and When Did the Qing Dynasty End?
This dynasty ended in late 1911. Mass civil order began and grew. Empress Dowager Cixi was leader at this time, until she died, just a few years before the dynasty collapsed. China's last dynasty had ended.
